After 36 years of  law practice we have seen how  family law changes from  decade  to decade.  Years ago,  our family law lawyers helped young baby  boomers whose marriages  failed  early on in their  marriage.  For  the people survived martial  problems early on in their  early marriages there  seems to be a  new  trend  of  baby  boomers  getting divorce into the 50’s  and  beyond.  In fact, a recent article in  Kiplinger’s Magazine cites  a  statistic  that Americans  over  the age  of  50 divorce  rate  has more doubled.
